Going to work abroad: an exciting opportunity or a scary one?

Every year, more and more Spanish people went abroad to work in another country. Maybe the problem is that in Spain there are not enough jobs for all the people, especially permanent jobs. Going abroad to work and live is a good idea? Do you think that is an exciting opportunity or a scary one?

Well, everything has two faces, a positive one and a negative. The main advantatge is that you can find more job outside Spain than inside. Because of that, more Spanish people went abroad to work. Maybe they find better salarys and better conditions than in her country. In addition, you can learn about the country, the culture and especially the language.

On the other hand, there are also some important disadvantatges. The most important is the language, because if you do not know the language you will not have the job, and you have a lot of problemes to understand the other people and your boss and your colleagues. Furthermore, when you arrived at the new country, you are alone, whitout your friends and your family. However, you can meet somebody in your new city and become friends. If you go to a country with very diferent routine and habits, you will need to change it and become accustomed to your new lifestyle. And this might be a problem for some people.

In conclusion, going abroad to work have good and bad things, maybe an exciting adventure or a nightmare. In my opinion, it is the best opportunty to increase yourself like a human. But, it depends on how much change you can afford and your level of the language.
